Our rebrand
Back in May 2006 our brand-new company of Independent Financial Advisers, Chancellor Financial Management Limited, was established in Bolton, although our roots in the town stretched back much further to the days of New Mansion Life and Pensions Limited and Fairmount Trust plc. Many of our clients have been with us since the start of our journey, fifteen years ago.
Over this time, so many things have happened at Chancellor – the company has continued to grow organically and now employs a team of thirteen and is based in The Courtyard on Calvin Street.
Whilst Chancellor’s current “maze” branding is instantly recognizable and well liked, Chancellor’s Directors – Grant Farnell and David Torkington, felt that the company’s 15th Anniversary this year should be marked by a totally fresh new “look” and with effect from May 2021, our whole new brand will be rolled out to our clients and professional contacts.
Well over twelve months ago, we started speaking to branding experts about how we could look to the future, whilst still retaining many of the features that our clients have come to know and trust. Given our “northern” roots we decided to engage with Adam Gill, the Design Director of Huddersfield based Grammar Studio who came up with a number of refreshing ideas for our consideration. We would like to thank Adam for his unending patience and for his final designs. Chancellor’s Business Development Manager, Dave Heaton, says “Chancellor always has one eye on the future and having firmly established itself in Bolton since 2006, we are looking forward to the next fifteen years and beyond”
Over the next few months the new design will also be appearing on our new website which will have a whole host of new features and content – so as they say, please “watch this space”!
By way of a sneak preview, we are sharing a computer “mock up” of the proposed new sign on the outside of 6 The Courtyard and hope that you like the new design as much as we do.
